Max is Managing Director of Hub DC, focusing on real estate and operations. He has a background in founding and scaling innovate start-ups, with experience in community organizing, organizational development, systems and operations design, and project management. Previously, Max co-founded Groundswell, a leading clean energy market-driving program that creates opportunities for low-income people and faith based groups to build and benefit from a green economy. Max also has a background in video production, having worked on video for the Obama Administration Transition Team and helped launch a media consulting company,IB5k.
Daryn focuses on investor relations for Hub DC. He is a fourth generation Washington, DC native with a deep background in building premier social change platforms. Along with his work on Hub DC, Daryn is a consultant to Calvert Group where he leads the Venture Capital and Private Equity investment strategy. Prior to Calvert, Daryn led the University and Corporate partnership strategy for Idea Village, a New Orleans based accelerator, engaging more than 500 MBAs and Corporate Leaders. Daryn holds an MBA from Stanford and AB in Public Policy from Duke University.
Alex focuses on the Hub DC capital raise, partnerships, and member attraction. Previously, he was a Research Fellow at Harvard University’s Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative, where he focused on impact investing, market ecosystems, and cross-sector partnerships for international development. Alex has also worked in various capacities with great teams at the Brookings Institution, the Center for Global Development and Ashoka: Innovators for the Public. He received a BS in International Business from Georgetown University.
Allison leads community outreach through social media, events and management of the member pipeline. She is the Metrics Officer at Grassroots Business Fund, which supports high impact businesses in Africa, Asia and Latin America through investment and technical assistance. She is also the founder of the DC Timebank and a shared leadership team member of Organizing Neighborhood Equity (ONE) DC. She received as BA in Economics from the University of Maryland, where she was part of the first class of the Ashoka Changemaker Campus Program and planned the the first annual Social Enterprise Symposium.
